Circle of Care
Capital Campaign
Benefits To The Community
The new Hospice Family Centre will be a place where health care professionals feel confident that individuals and their families will receive quality programs, services, resources, comfort and compassion.
The Hospice Family Centre will complete the circle of care by:
- Improving and extending an individual’s capacity to continue living at home or in the setting of choice.
- Enhancing the quality of the Volunteer Visiting Program through an improved training and education facility.
- Offering supportive programs and services for volunteers, clients and families including specialized programs for children, teens and those who are bereaved.
- Organizing day programs for adults in a setting that will allow them to explore different creative modalities as well as other complementary therapies that promote relaxation and well being.
- Providing an integrated and experiential learning environment where the focus is palliative care education and enhanced care for everyone involved.
