For all volunteer opportunities, volunteer screening, orientation and training are required.

Hospice of Waterloo Region is actively recruiting for the following positions:

• Client Support Volunteers – provide weekly visits & respite relief in an individual’s home, hospital, long term care facility or residential hospice.
• Transportation Volunteer – to drive individuals to in-town or out-of-town medical appointments and/or the Cancer Centre (must have own vehicle).
• Gardening Volunteers – help us keep our gardens healthy and cultivated and our grounds tidy for the enjoyment of our clients and their families.
• Housekeeping Volunteers – perform light housekeeping duties to assist us in keeping The Hospice Family Centre clean and tidy for the enjoyment of our clients and their families.
• Volunteer Hairstylists – provide hair styling services (wash & style) in our in-house beauty room. Volunteer Hairstylists must be licensed with a minimum of 5 years experience. Must be willing to take our 33-hour hospice volunteer training program.
