Hospice Waterloo Region has introduced a bereavement group named “Steady Grounds” for men (cisgender and transgender) and folks who feel most comfortable in a space for men, providing time to navigate the complexities of grief in community. These monthly gatherings offer a relaxed, informal environment where participants can share experiences, emotions, and challenges related to loss. This group aims to foster a sense of support, and strength, offering the opportunity to build connection with others who understand.

This is a peer facilitated group that will take place the third Friday of each month, 9:00-10:30am,
