BREAK TIME

Making Hospice a Home
teacups

A cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea is just what many need to kick-start their day or give them a boost midway through. Nothing will feel as comforting and welcoming as being met with a smile and offered a cup of coffee and tea upon your arrival at our Hospice. Coffee and tea serveries will be placed throughout out facility, so your cup of coffee and tea will never be far away. Everyone deserves a break now and then – make sure to take yours!

Your donation will be used to purchase:

  • Coffee Machines
  • Coffee Pots
  • Tea Kettles and Tea Pots
  • Coffee and Tea Mugs
  • Coffee Carts

*Note: As the items need to be new and of a commercial-grade and due to COVID-19 concerns, we are unable to accept direct donations of these items. Please consider sponsoring a new item in this category.

There are a total of nine different types of housewarming gifts. Learn about the other categories.

The Experience of Being at Home at Hospice

For many who come to a hospice residence, it is a highly emotional time. When a family and their loved one arrives, the staff and volunteers provide immediate care and support. By creating a welcoming and comfortable setting, we give families a place to feel safe and, most importantly, to feel at home. Hear about Merv and Sandi’s experience with hospice.
