Kintsugi (‘golden joinery’) serves as an inspiring metaphor for how we approach life, in particular the unexpected events and imperfections in our lives.
In this experiential and reflective full-day workshop, we engage in joining shards of a beautiful, yet broken, bowl as a tangible means to deepen our capacity to heal and build resilience. We highlight the cracks that symbolize our scars as we move towards appreciation of the fragility, strength and beauty on our journey through life and loss.
LOCATION
This workshop is scheduled to be held on location in The Gies Family Centre, Hospice Waterloo Region at 100 Solstice Way in Waterloo. This might change depending on COVID protocols. More details will be available once we get closer to the date. Those entering Hospice must be double vaccinated.
