Hike for Hospice

The 14th Annual Hike for Hospice is happening on Sunday, September 27th.

This year’s hike will once again be hosted on the beautiful grounds of The Gies Family Centre. Participants will enjoy a scenic 3km route along the picturesque trails surrounding the facility while helping raise essential funds to support Hospice Waterloo Region.

Hike for Hospice is an annual family and dog-friendly walk event. It is a unique opportunity for those families and friends who have lost a loved one to create a legacy of ongoing support by hiking in their memory.

Your Support Makes A Difference

Ongoing donations are vital to ensure that Hospice Waterloo Region can provide exceptional service and care, at no charge, to hospice clients and their families.

Government funding covers only a portion of our annual operating costs, primarily supporting direct medical care, including the clinical staff in our residence. The remainder of our funding comes from the generosity of donors, sponsors, participants, and our community.
