Join us on Friday, May 27, 2022, for an afternoon of film & conversation featuring the movie “The In Between.”

Based on discussion with our film goers last month we decided to take our movie watching in a direction not yet travelled as we open up the conversation about grief and saying goodbye to those who have died. “The In Between” is based on the novel of the same name by author Marc Klein and is based on the tragic death of an ex-girlfriend almost 15 years ago.

Starring Joey King and Kyle Allen as Tessa and Skylar, the film follows a young couple whose relationship is tragically cut short when he is killed in a car accident.

Following his death, Tessa is left trying to connect with the afterworld, in an attempt to give their relationship the ending it deserves. Fans have described the film as heart-breaking and emotional, while others have been looking for an in-depth explainer of how The In Between ends.
