Client Support Volunteers support clients who are living with life-limiting
illness and their caregivers. Volunteers also support the bereaved. In all programs, Client Support Volunteers provide emotional, social and practical support. Time commitment is 2-4 hours per week.

Organizational Volunteers provide much needed support around the Gies Family Centre and Cook Family Residence, inside our kitchen, laundry, reception areas and gardens. These volunteers help us keep our facility running smoothly and looking beautiful! Time commitment is 3 hours weekly or biweekly.

Youth Volunteers, aged 14-18 years, are welcome to help us in a variety of Organizational Support roles.

Hospice Waterloo Region - Event Volunteers
Event Volunteers are important to help us run special fundraising events through the year: Hike for Hospice in late September, Lights of Love the first Sunday in December, and Handbags for Hospice in May. Time commitment is 2-4 hours.
