Event Volunteers
Are important to help us run special fundraising events through the year: Hike for Hospice in late September, Lights of Love the first Sunday in December, and Handbags for Hospice in May.
Event Volunteer Opportunities
Event Volunteer duties may include:
- Greeting attendees
- Handing out refreshments
- Helping at registration tables
- Setting up before the event
- Cleaning up after the event
Training & Other Requirements to be an Event Volunteer
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Under 18, a parental waiver / consent is required
- Training for event duties is provided as needed by staff
We usually begin seeking event volunteers two months before the event.
How to Get Started!
- Complete the Event Volunteer Application Form
- Sign required paperwork (Confidentiality and Photographic & Media Release Form)
- For youths under 18 years of age, a Youth Waiver Form for Parent / Guardian Consent
- Email all forms to [email protected]
- And get started as an event volunteer!
